Take care sister

Rape Rape Rape … let us beat it. All the culprits should be hanged to death.  I heard one more attractive post /tweet “ if the girl is send to Singapore for treatment, send the culprits to Saudi for trial”. Sounds good.  First, I completely feel sorry for the girl and am really angry with rapists.  Let me elaborate a few things related to this in a better way instead of 180 letter tweet.

Although many of you know but frequently forget two facts
      1)      Media thrives on sensation.
      2)      People memory is short.

Media need to have news that makes headlines if they don’t, they have enough capabilities to pick up any tenth page one column article to make headlines.  Take the incident as a reference count of similar incidents occurred before and after this incident. In fact enough rapes after the incident and before the incident they are numerous. But why only this did hit headlines? A rape is a rape irrespective of Delhi, moving bus or number of persons involved. The newspaper which covers this incident on frontpage also have a separate page for “deep cleavages of most desired women of 2012” on it’s website.
Now talking about the second fact ,people are blessed with fading memories. They don’t remember anything after a few days . You remember a guy called “Anna Hazare”. Do you remember that he a struggle for Jan Lokpal bill couple of years back?  Immediately you would say “Yes” but could you recollect what is Jan Lokpal bill.

After the two facts the immediate topic Girls should be dressed sensibly. “It is my dress , it can be as short or long I wish it to be, instead you learn to control your winky”. Perfect reply from girls no worries , I can understand and always accept girls are independent.  But who is affected after the incident is it guy or the girl ? Obviously due to rules of nature , it is always the girl .  After the incident even if the culprit is hanged , still the girl suffers.  If you hang one or hundred culprits incidents keep on occurring and even if the law is made enough strict incidents might reduce but cannot be eliminated completely.
And there are numerous similar incidents which did not even get public attention due to social fear, family and cultural restrictions, fear from the influential and ofcourse out of court settlements.

In India still Sex is considered a sin and people don’t even like to talk about it in public.  This is not the same in other countries where inter-marital relationship itself is considered normal. Educating everyone about sex or more generically making one billion people literate is not a task that could be accomplished within a year or within five years.
Although Law is made enough strict , incidents like this do occur at one place or the other. There cannot be a dedicated policeman for each bus that turns to road.  So all these  police man and hanging solutions are only for short term and they don’t work in the long term. I am not the right guy to suggest a solution being not aware of law and it rules. But all I can say is my sisters and mothers take care of yourselves. Don’t take risks till the world becomes risk free. Yes definitely I cannot guarantee, that after even you take enough precautions incidents will not occur but alteast you did your bit to be safe.

I wish lawmakers would come up with a strong law which would eliminate female insults soon. But again I repeat this cannot be made overnight .

what should we name???

What is there in a name? After all it's just a name. Don’t you agree? Definitely I would not.

In the epic Srimad Bhagavatha , there was a guy called Ajaameeyudu. Although he was born and bought up righteously, at one point of time in his life, he got used to bad habits of all kind ; divorced his rightful wife, marries a prostitute, gets four sons with her , does not look after his parents and all in all everything bad. The only good thing he did was to name his second son he got with the prostitute as Narayana. After a few years when he approaches death out of affection on his second son , he kept on calling him quite frequently. After his death he was taken to heaven instead of hell. The reason given for this was because he chanted Narayana (although it is his second son name) on his death bed. So only he is given a place in heaven.

The above story clearly tells why elders earlier use to name their sons and daughter with God, Goddess names. Atleast by calling their son or daughter they can chant the name of God.

Now-a-days it is more of variety. Parents are struggling quite hard to name their kids. It is much more painful task for the parents than to give birth to the kid. I remember one of the kid’s nick name(short name used in general by parents and siblings at home) is “Hutch”. You call your kid Hutch tooch. So whenever someone sneezes your kid will ask “did you call me ?”.

One more incident I heard was the kid being named Dhoorth. The parents were very happy that their son name is unique and never heard ever. It is only when his parents got to know the actual meaning  they changed their son name. By the way Dhoortha means sinster in Sanskrit.

The only reason for these kind of names are parents more and more opting for variety and uniqueness. And the main problem is ignorance combined with belief in numerology or horoscope. Parents keep on referring some nonsense websites and forums which fill their databases with all 26 Combination 26(26!) names. One acquaintance asked me to suggest a name starting with S for his new born daughter. I suggested him straight way go for “Seetha”. He replies me no man I cannot do that because people with name “Seetha” are expected to face the same troubles as mother Seetha from Ramayana. This is what I call peaks of ignorance. Trust me you should proud to have been named as Seetha. I would repeat and everyone who understood Ramayana would agree to the fact that Ramayana did not become epic because of Rama. Ramayana only became epic because of my mother Seetha’s CHARACTER.

More funny to add are few people get so obsessed with their names and they name their kids with their own name or a combination of letters from both parent’s names.

On the flip side I know a few parents who name their kids with all the possible God and Goddess names they know of . The name length crosses the limit of String type in computer programming. Instead of calling their son with the complete name they select few characters from each word and adopt it as a pet name to their kid. One of such names a family nick named their kid as “Maraka” (meaning stain in telugu)

There is nothing written with in this blog for fun. If you are one among those who don’t know meaning of your kid’s name first check it and then name your kid. If variety is so important then you can name your kid by using Random function in Java or any other computer programming languages. They pick up randomly a set of letters which are rarely repetitive. So your kid for sure will have the best unique name possible.

Before questioning why should you follow whatever elders or wise men said first check the reason why did they ask you do ?

Bye bye .. Happy naming

Compassion of the Lord

In Mahabharat, Arjun goes to Krishna and asks him to help in Kurushektra war. Krishna agrees to be Arjuna charioteer but takes oath not touch any weapon during the war. When Bhishma is made commander-in-chief position of Kaurava Army , he comes to know about the oath taken Krishna , then Bhishma takes oath that he would make Krishna to hold weapon.

Bhishma tells "Who is Krishna to take an oath, I will make Krishna to hold a weapon"

On the day of war Bhishma hits Arjuna red and blue . Seeing that Krishna becomes very angry, ignores his oath and raises his Sudarshana Chakra to kill Bhishma. Then Arjuna stops him saying "Krishna , please cool down, if you kill Bhishma , world will think that Arjuna is incapable of hanlding Bhishma so only Krishna has to hold his weapon".

Seeing Krishna with his Sudarshana , Bhishma renders a beautiful verse. This is translated from Vyasa Bharatamu by Bammera Pothana to telugu too beautifully . Below is the verse

kuppinchi egasina kundalambula kanthi gaganabhaagambella gappikonaga
urikina norvaka udarambulonunna jagamulaveguna jagathi kadala
chakrambu chepatti chanudenchu rayamuna painunna pachhani patamujaara
nammiti naalavu nagubatu seyaka manimpumani kreedi marali tikuva
kariki langhinchu singhamu karani merisi nedu bhesshmuni champininu kravu
vidumu arjuna ani naadu vishikhadrushti terali chanudenchu devundu dikkunaaku

you can hear the padyam at http://www.raaga.com/play/?id=193162

This tells that God will go down to any level to protect his devotee.

One more instance from Gajendra Moksham

Gajendra (the elephant) who is the lord of the Jungle Trikuta never minded to think of God Name. He never offered a flower , a fruit or even chanted name of God. Once Gajendra went to lake for drinking water, After his thirst is satisfied , he goes into the lake for fun. He disturbs the lake and wild life living in the lake.
Then a crocodile catches the leg of the Gajendra. Then the elephant struggles a lot to get released from the clutches of the crocodile. This goes on for days and days.

As days pass by Gajendra finally gets weaker and weaker. He loses all the strength to fight and reaches to dying state. Then he starts to think of anyone who can help him to relieve from crocodile.

Then finally he prays the lord without even calling him by name

"O god , you are a male , a female , you are genderless , you helped everyone who asked,
In my entire life I never thought of you or prayed . Now I don't have any energy left to offer you a flower or sing some verses in praise of you.
You are the only point of help for me and there is no one else apart from you to help me . I don't want you to come miraculously appear from nowhere and help me. I want you come from your abode with only desire to help me"

If you observe the above poem Gajendra never says the God name all he said was help me and put some conditions on how the Lord has to help her.

Just before Lord Vishnu heard the poem , he was holding his wife Sri Mahalakshmi Amma saree and playing with it.  Immediately he started running from Vaikunta. He did not care whether he was dressed alright or not . Nor did he care to leave his wife Sri Mahalakshmi Amma saree. He kept of running towards Gajendra . Garuda the Bird, his Vahana(source of transport for Lord Vishnu) came infront of Vishnu asking him to get on his back to take him.Vishnu pushed him away and kept on walking fast . Sri Mahalakshmi was running his behind as the one of the saree was in Vishnu's hand. All the Gods kept on running behind Vishnu as they could not comprehend why he was running.

Finally Vishnu reached the lake Trikuta and killed the crocodile. If you notice in the above incident the elephant Gajendra never bothered to pray in entire life , it only prayed for God that too without mentioning his name asking for help.

But still the Lord was kind enough to help Gajendra.

God can come down a thousand steps for you , all he asks is just try to make one step towards him.

Woman.. I respect you -- Part 1

A female it does not matter whether it is human or non-human, is the excellent form.  If you need to weigh the characteristics exhibited by a male and female in a balance, female do weigh 100 hundred times more than a male.  In particular a woman is the perfect combination of navarasa (Nine Moods).

Santham, Sringaram, Hasyam, Raudram, Karunyam , Bibhastam, Bayanakam, Viram, Adbhutam.

I would be referring to stuff from my Guru Sri Changanti Koteswara Rao speeches and to the Hindu books.

I am not exactly sure why and where it is misunderstood the importance of woman. And this misunderstanding made  people to think that women are low compared with a male. A man can never be 100 percent complete without a female next to him.

Kardama Prajapathi (A ruler in the SatyaYuga)has done more 10000 years of severe penance to get a good wife.

Man by birth and default has three debts one paternal debt(Pithru Runam), two debts to gods(Daiva Runam) and third one debt to the sages (Muni Runam).

PitruRunam : You are debted to your father and fore fathers for giving you birth and looking after you.  The only way you can pay this debt is by extending your race and performing pithru  ceremony yearly after they are passed on. Extension of your race can only happen with your wife, Without a female there is no chance to extend your race. Second one, it does not matter to the forefather’s atma how well you performed the ceremony yearly they will only accept the tarpan offered by you unless the daughter-in-law lights a diya.  If due to menstrual cycle or some other reason is not able to do this, the ceremony itself is postponed for three days and it is to be conducted after she is good to enter home again.  So if you notice here who is important it is never a male, it the female who gets the respect.  A female can always glorify two families both her parents and in-laws but a male can only glorify his parents’ family.

DevaRunam:  This debt is to the devas (Gods) for giving you everything you are on today. To peform an yagna or a pooja the 100 percent return for the pooja is given only when you are accompanied by your wife. Reference :  Lord Sri Rama made a golden figure of Seetha when Seetha was away and he was performing Aswamedha Yaga. When the Lord Sri Rama himself could not manage without Seetha how you do expect to get something without your wife next to you. As per the Vedas ,wife gets 50% of the benefit of any pooja or a good deed husband does irrespective of whether the wife participated or not but vice versa is not granted . Most importantly to note she only gets the share in results of good deeds but never for the bad deeds, although the male does for her only. But why a wife is granted such a great position because she cooks, looks after you needs and does everything for you.

Muni Runam for the tapas they did and the puranas , slokas and everything the Munis have given the human race. This debt too would be cleared only when you are accompanied by a wife.

If you read Hindu books , chaste woman (pativrata) were able to command the world just by serving their husband and nothing else.

Reference .  Anasuya wife of Atri could convert Lord Brahma , Vishnu and Siva into day babies when they have come in the guise of Brahmins to test the chaste of Anasuya. It is only when the wifes of trine Goddess Saraswathi, Lakshmi and Parvathi went and pleaded Anasuya  they got back their normal form.

Sati Savithri managed to stop Yama from her husband life being taken away. Sumathi controlled the Sun from rising itself. All of them were able to do only by serving their husbands.

would be continued on part 2

Cheap BATDS

Dressed in decent clothes , nike shoes and a premium mobile phone he walks into the store and keeps staring in confusion. A lady dressed in black skirt thats barely touching her knees and in a super tight white shirt walks to him and asks “Are you ok?” The guy replies stares at the white shirt instead of her face and replies with a lost mind “I am good thank you, Can you please help with a birthday gift ?” The lady hardly understood but she managed to catch the words "birthday" and "gift" and replies “the cheap ones are that side, Do you let me know if you need any other help ”.

Who asked for a cheap gift , the guy never asked for one . But why did the lady pointed so ?

Welcome to the world of cheap bastards. It is the look of them that defines yes these guys look only for cheap stuff . They are none but Indians who travel to other countries on a deputation or even on permanent residence. The same guy who does not wear anything cheaper than a Lewis jeans in India, never even thinks of buying one Lewis jeans at onshore. Yes of course there is huge price difference , The one made in India and sold in India costs at max 4 to 5K INR. But the Asian made and sold in London costs around 120 GBP(10 k INR) . But NRI forgets that his salary too tripled/quadrupled and he is earning in pounds/dollars instead of paisa. Do you know what is the fastest calculator to multiply and compare? It is the NRI brain. The moment NRI brain notices a price tag, it automatically establishes a super-fast broadband connectivity to xe.com and gets the currency conversion rate ,multiplies and compares the videshi price with desi price.

This cheap B never gets attracted so easily to a discount sale, because of regular visit to malls ,stores and extensive online product research , it helps him to maintain a database of products and their prices over a period of time. One day the cheap B was thirsty and equally hungry after a daylong outing. He walked to Mc Donald's food outlet to order a Meal Deal(note the word deal). The Mc D worker after asking him his meal to be a large or normal one and then asked him his choice of drink. He looks at the menu gets surprised to see water is not free , it is priced same as a Chocolate Milk Shake or big jug of Chilled Coke. He then decides ok no more water , thirst can be satisfied by a coke. MC D give him Coke.

But this was the cheap B I have seen in my first visit of onsite which was six years back. The cheap B got better these days . He left his cheap ideology half behind. Thanks to the exponential turnout of malls and shopping centres in India. The changed cheap B(ccb) now started buying expensive not so expensive but the mid-range stuff. He started hating Primark (a identical one to Big Bazaar) which was once a paradise. He does not visit Harrods just for seeing , but to make a note of the product and buy the same online for a lesser price . He is now a regular visitor to posh restaurants . But still he buys only a coke at Mc D instead of water . He only buys stuff after more and more extensive research. The word deal always strikes chord with CCB.

"Hey man it is deal, I will buy it :) ".

I don’t intent to blame anyone here , I just have put the change in mind-sets of people, I have noticed over my onshore visits.

All Powerful Slave

Wealth, the alternate God or rather the visible God .It can give anything and everything.

Why it is alternate God??

1) It is never partial; it treats everyone equally, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, colour, human or animal, living or static.
2) With respect to God there are two categories, theist and atheist. Coming to Wealth, we have too categories Rich and Poor.
3) There are various forms and various avatars of God. And Wealth too has various forms Rupees, Dollars, Pounds etc and avatars are Paper form, Gold, Silver , Land etc
4) There are various routes to reach God , various ways to earn wealth
5) God said Trust Me , Money said the same.
6) Not sure if someone has seen God , but definitely atleast some have seen wealth

The old argument, Wealth or money cannot buy everything.
As it is said in Shree Suktham

Dhanam-agnir dhanam-vaayur dhanam-Suryo dhanam-vasuha
Dhanam-Indro Bruhaspatir-Varunam dhanam-ishvarou

It means as below.

Agni (the fire to cook food ) needs money, Vaayu (The air to breathe) needs money, Sun (the light to live) needs money, Indra (the leader to rule ) needs money , Guru (the teacher who teaches) needs money , God (the Lord who supposedly fulfils wishes ) needs money. So if everyone you know needs money, then who is all powerful? It is THE WEALTH. There is nothing wealth cannot buy or get you, Remember the things which you cannot buy or get with wealth , you cannot get them by bartering anything else. Aa wrongly said one cannot increase your life expectancy with money , but nothing else too can get it . Atleast money increases by day or hour, but without money you lose more than days.

But hold on is wealth God or all powerful slave? Truly it is an all-powerful slave, You have money, you are the macho, you don’t you are one among the billion idiots. It listens to you, it obeys you and if you have it people obey you. Just go out and prove yourself to be the wealthiest and undoubtly you get everything you need . It may be love, families, cars, power, beauty, implants, liposuction etc.

Wealth can make even the immobile too more powerful, Simple example Lord Venkateswara in Tirupathi, Do you know why he famous, first thing being because of his wealth. He has wealth, so he shows in the ornaments he wears, the place he stays (above seven hills) and in the people who follow him.

Now more to Wealth power, the day it leaves, the same second you join the legion of idiots. But how to gain or get hold of it. It is never taught , atleast the human minds are enough trained from childhood to earn it. A four year old kid knows how to earn money to get his chocolate, a twenty year knows that he has study to earn, a thirty year old that he has work to earn . Similar to God, once you get to see him the trouble starts how to see him for long, Similarly with wealth how to double , triple it and how to save it from being deserting you.

As and all in one line “Dhanamidam jagath

Supreme Existence

This blog or rather the below answers are based on my knowledge of GOD. I do trust him and believe him .

1) Existence ?
The never ending argument any day would be to argue about God Existence? My answer to this question if you are interested go and find him. If I give a straight forward answer “yes” many of you would start negating giving your own reasons. I am not asking you to find the GOD for me , if you are interested then go and find

2) Why he is not visible ?

The reason he‘s invisible because you never wished to see him . If ever you visited a temple or mosque or a church did you pray wish to see GOD . No, never you did that . You always asked for materialistic pleasures like money, marriage , onsite , lover or something else. Best example for this is Chilkur Balaji Temple in Hyderabad, most of the people go there hoping the Lord would help him in their U.S visa interviews. The Chilkur Balaji also known as Visa god or Visa Balaji ,how foolish !!!!

Did you sincerely pray even a single day without being selfish and with the only motive to see him . Do that for a couple of days I am pretty sure you would see him.

3) Does he look similar to idol I see ?

Now this is quite an interesting question. Let us start with why we have idol worship or a matter different religions. The reply would be to appease human taste. I have always seen young females quiet uncomfortable to drape a saree, Instead they feel quite comfortable to wear a jeans or something western.

I asked a friend of mine from Pune, “Why do you always dress up in saree? ”, Her reply was “I am comfortable in this”.

Similarly you start to love whatever you like or be comfortable with . Everything has a reason behind it. I adore the Lord’s idol with flowers and dhoop ,because it looks so beautiful. Beauty is likeable and liking is loving and loving is reaching him. He guises the way you want to see him.

4) Why it is so tough to see him ?

This is a bad question. How long would it take for you reach Prime Minister of India and have a word with him that too in personal . Unless you are related , it is going to take months and months , that too after detailed briefing and after a lot of approvals. Now GOD is the prime Head of the whole universe and he is entire supreme . Now it is not tough to guess how many tests you need to clear off before you talk in person.

One day of visiting temple , or being on fast or giving hundred rupees to beggar at cross roads will not make you to see him at the very moment.

5) Fear of God

GOD never said through any of his scriptures or holy books , you only worship me and forget the rest , I will write the exam for you and make sure you clear it off. He always said do your karma and leave the result to him. One who does not do his Karma worships GOD and later blames him for the ill result . GOD is the not like a villain on silver screen who vows to take revenge. So if you are not on a fast he will never curse you. And remember do not blame him, if you intake excess calories and get fat.

6) Belief

This is the most important and crucial of all. It is belief and confidence that works out wonders. As long as you don’t believe, even if GOD sits next to you , you will never accept he is GOD, until and unless he becomes a conjurer to show cheap tricks. If you are not believing it is not worth the effort. Once Swami Vivekananda asked Ramakrishna Paramahamsa “Does GOD exist ?”. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa replied “Yes, believe me and I will show you the path to GOD”. Under guidance of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa ,Vivekananda got what he sought.

7) How to reach him ?

Simple answer. Do your karma and follow the dharma. Every religion and every holy book mentions this. If you do and follow both strictly trust me you would attain Godliness.

8) The so called holy book are just stories

No they are not just stories. It is because of your perception you feel they are stories , They are morals and guidelines for us. Read them the way they meant, and never mean them the way you want. It has gone bad these days to such an extent that involving Lord Krishna in living relationships.

9) Instances I felt that he is always with me

Umpteen instances , I can almost feel him daily in one or the other aspect. Even you would have them. The Lord looks at everyone in the same view irrespective of your religion, caste, creed , sex and even atheist or theist. He is never biased.

The day you have complete belief in him you will feel he is close friend to you. You would start to talk to him instead of praying in a very casual manner and even blame him for not showing up. One example for this is Lord Venkestwara playing dice game with Sri Hathiram Bhavaji.

Also you can read more of my blogs on http://spilledmotives.blogspot.com

I used “he” in this entire blog when referring to GOD as third person, to ease my writing.
